Good News!!

Look who's home! She is saying, "I am SO glad to be home with my Mommy and Daddy!"

She is still on 3 different medications and is a little dopey. Can you tell by her eyes? Poor Sissie. She keeps losing control of her bladder. I don't know what that's all about. Hopefully, that is not permanent! She has never had that problem before. She's on pain meds so maybe...maybe she is relaxing a little too much.

This is all she wanted to do all day. I have to take her back to the vet next week and get her glucose level checked to make sure she doesn't have diabetes now. I'm praying that she doesn't. She is on a very bland diet and she isn't happy about that one bit. ;) She is a little cry baby and carried on while we ate lunch today. So at dinner time, I shut her in the other room. No since in torturing her. She doesn't understand.

I just want to thank all of you, dear friends for your encouraging words that were full of love and kindness. I won't ever forget it. It is so nice to know so many caring people that love their pets as much as I do. You have been a blessing to me. And believe me, God heard all of our prayers and I am thankful for that too.

God bless each and everyone of you.

Big loves and hugs,

I am doing a happy dance for you, so pleased that Sissie pulled through. I was praying really hard for you and Sissie as a little over 12 months ago I lost my sweet little Tuppence (11 yrs) to severe pancreatitis with complications. She spent a harrowing five days and nights at the vets before they decided they couldn't save her. It is so heartbreaking to see them suffer.

How good to hear that your Sissie is back home. It is always so sad when animals are suffering. I lost my dear cat two years ago and I still miss him this day.

My thoughts are with you and Sissie.

Praise God! We all prayed very hard for that little girl. So glad she is home. I think her potty issues are medication related. Don't be surprised if she also shakes. Can be a sign of pain and/or meds too with dogs. So happy to hear she's home. Fingers crossed for a full recovery. xoxo

Yea Sonya! I am so happy Sissie is back home. I hope she will continue to get better and be as good as new. And hopefully she won't have to stay on the medication for very long. I am sure that is what is causing her bladder problems. Poodles are very sensitive so you have to take extra care of her. I remember one time our Toni, the dog I grew up with, got into too many chocolates and wound up at the vet. Everyone used to think it was so cute to give her some but when it made her sick, we realized it wasn't a good thing at all and can be quite toxic. Wishing you all the best. Hugs and slobbery kisses for Sissie. :) Tammy

Baby cakes....its so good to see your cute little face!!!! Aunt Cleo loves you and is so happy you are home now!!!! I've seen these water proof training pads for puppies at the pet store, maybe that's something you could use indoors until she has it all together again....just a thought...hugs...cleo

You have made my day!!! Yeah Praise God Sissie is home!! A true answer to all of our prayers!! My prayers are still going up for a total recovery. Ask your Vet about the accidents most likely it is medicine induced. I doubt your little girl could handle the stress of the doggy diapers right now if she has never worn them before. I think all she needs is being held by her loved ones, pampered, loved and some rest.May you rest too now!
