Weekend at Sunriver!

Deacon showing off for the girls. He was actually dancing. We need to do this again. Good memories for the family.

Fun Times At Sunriver

Deacon is splashing Grandma (me) while I'm taking their picture. Left to right: cousin Andrea, Deacon, cousin McKenzie, friend Isabel and behind her cousin Alexis. The hot tub was out in the open on the lower deck and it had been raining too, but wasn't cold at all. They had so much fun.

Nikki Showing Us Her Moves!

This was so hilarious! I took this picture from the top deck looking down on the bottom deck. We were playing the stereo from inside the house. We had some rocking 60's and 70's music playing. Everyone one was dancing (even inside the hot tub). When I saw Nikki dancing I couldn't resist. Look at her left leg!

Doe a Deer

Isn't she cute? This was right outside the house. Mama and her two babies. She wasn't scared of us at all. The younger ones were kind of leery but they stayed with mom. Deacon was so excited, he was hopping up and down, yelling. He wanted to throw pine cones at them. I wanted to get somes pictures. So we had to hurry before Deacon spooked them. The Mama had a little gray on her whiskers, so she's been around for awhile.
Pictured left to right: Isabel (neighbor friend of Deacon's),Deacon, cousins Lexie and Kenzie outside at Sunriver. They were so excited because they got to see 3 deer eating in the yard.

Happy Birthday Nikki!

Nikki and Deacon blowing out Nikki's birthday candle. She turned 28 this last Saturday. It's hard to believe. Gosh, time flies. I remember when she was Deacon's age.
We all went to Sunriver to celebrate Nikki's birthday and just to get away for a couple days. We had fun inspite of this sad time. The house we stayed in was huge and slept 14 people. Good thing because that's how many we had!

Kip Harrison Davis Oct. 11,1972-Sept.1,2010

This is a picture of our son-in-law, Kip. He was tragically killed this Wednesday in a motorcycle accident. Please pray for my daughter and 3 children. We are so heartbroken I can't even tell you. This picture was taken on their wedding day. Such a happy, perfect day for everyone. His memorial is set for Thursday the 9th. I'm sure many will attend as he was loved by many. He was a wonderful father and husband and loved my daughter dearly.
